Moving Day

As your Realtor® I'll keep in touch with all the parties to make sure this experience is a smooth as possible. If you didn't see my moving tips please take a look now, following the tips will help the whole transition.

With moving to a new location comes a series of chores, fortunately in the internet age they can be accomplished a lot easier than a few years ago.

Follow the links to Notify The Post Office of your change of address, tell the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles that you need a new drivers license and inform the IRS of your new address.

When you move the more organized you can be the quicker the whole event becomes. I suggest you keep all the papers involved with your move in one place. You may need all the receipts and closing documents for your income tax preparation and for reference purposes for several months to come.

As soon as you arrive at your new home it is a good idea to get everyone settled quickly. If you have a dog and children take them all for a walk around the neighborhood within the first few hours. Not only will you probably bump into a few neighbors but it will help everyone feel at home more quickly.

If you need anything at all I am always available to help, just call me anytime. Once you have moved into your new home it is not the end of our relationship. I will be contacting you at various times after the move to make sure everything is okay and remind you to do various other important actions like filing for homestead exemption.

A good Realtor® is not someone who sells homes, it is someone who ensures a successful and pleasant relocation from the first day we meet and for the rest of the time you remain a resident in my location.
